Dr. Tim Crayford has a background at Board level in the NHS. He currently works in the Financial Services Industry, joining Just Plc in March 2011 as Group Medical Director. He is responsible for the architecture and performance of the company automated medical underwriting system, PrognoSys™. Prior to this, Tim was the Chief Medical Advisor at the Department of Transport. He is also a past President of the Association of Directors of Public Health for the UK. Tim qualified in medicine in 1988 from the Medical College of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, and has a masters degree in public health. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
Paul is a retired Metropolitan Police Inspector who worked the majority of his career in uniform, much of it based in Lambeth. He represented the Metropolitan Police Inspectors on the National Committee of the Police Federation from 2009-2014.
Paul was invited onto the Board of Governors at WCGS in 1992, chairing various committees over the years including staffing and curriculum, admissions and remuneration and became Chair in 2010. Paul was also one of the founding Trustees of Folio Education Trust.
Paul's role as trustee of Folio sees him support and challenge the schools and Folio staff, to ensure transparency, openness and value for money, which will hopefully assist other schools who join our trust. Wallington's 'Outstanding' judgement by Ofsted in January 2017, recognised all the years of hard work put in by staff and pupils, this experience will also assist the other schools in the Trust.
Paul has recently stepped down as Governor at WCGS to concentrate on supporting the Trust and leads on Health and Safety on the Trust Board.
Helen joined Folio Education Trust as an Appointed Trustee in September 2019. She has had 25 years experience in large multi-nationals and smaller organisations in the education, media and property sectors.
is currently CFO/COO for Girls’ Learning Trust, a local multi-academy trust with 3 large secondary schools, and has been instrumental in the growth of the MAT and the development of shared business services.
Prior to this, Helen worked for the BBC, Jones Lang LaSalle and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK, USA and Hong Kong. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and has a Land Economy degree from Cambridge University.
David Herrick is the Trust Lead for Financial Management and Audit. He joined the Trust in September 2019.
David joined Price Waterhouse’s audit department in London after University in 1990 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993. After gaining another four years audit experience he moved to an international investment bank where he has spent the past 22 years in a variety of financial and regulatory reporting roles.
David is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England Wales.
Vinoo joined Folio in September 2017 and has been a trustee and a member of the Resource Committee since.
Vinoo brings a varied experience garnered from more than a decade of being on the Boards of a variety of primary and secondary schools.
A qualified accountant by education, Vinoo is a believer of “Education is the great social leveller in any society!” and trusts Folio to contribute effectively to that cause.
Vinoo currently working as a Data Analytics professional in the General Insurance Industry in London. Her passion is the nurture and development of young people in financial literacy.
Julie has a son in year 8 at Coombe Wood School and became a Folio Trust member in July 2019. Julie applied to be a Trustee as she believed she has the necessary knowledge and experience to enable the Trust to monitor curriculum and outcomes in order to ensure the highest standards of curriculum across the schools.
Julie has worked within education in Croydon for the last 19 years. Originally an A Level teacher , she quickly moved on to managing curriculum areas, and for the last three years has been an Assistant Principal and the Designated Safeguarding Lead within Croydon College. Julie has recently secured a new post and is now the Assistant Principal at South Thames College Group where she manages curriculum and oversees students with high needs across their four colleges.
Julie is passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for all students irrespective of their abilities or backgrounds. Working with Folio Education Trust enables Julie to use her extensive curriculum knowledge and experience to ensure all children within the Trust are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Jane joined the Folio Trust Board in 2017. Previously, Jane has been the SEN Governor and Chair of Governors at St Peter’s Primary School, as well as a Trustee of Croydon Mencap and Chair of Trustees for the Opportunity Group, a pre-school group for children with special needs.
Much of Jane's career has been spent working in the field of branding and communications, during which time she was appointed HR Director of a global branding agency. In recent years Jane has worked locally in Croydon in the field of SEND and currently works for a Croydon charity who support parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities.
Jane has a passion for inclusion, for putting children and young people at the heart of decision making regarding their education and is committed to developing strategies to promote the wellbeing of staff and students in schools.
Rosemary joined Folio Education Trust as a Trustee in September 2019. Her areas of focus on the Board are MAT Strategy and HR.
Rosemary is a Senior Consultant at Perrett Laver, a leading international executive search firm working with mission-driven sectors worldwide. A specialist in Head and senior leadership appointments for schools, MATs and school groups in the academy, state, independent and special education sectors. Rosemary also acts as an adviser across a diverse range of educational charities in Executive and Non-Executive roles.
Rosemary is passionate about the transformative power of education and the ways in which schools can collaborate to improve life chances for young people.
